I'm Lee Schwartz, die-hard Kansas fan and alumnus, frequent purveyor of bad puns, and now responsible for a website and small business!  (Look out techies!  The computer illiterate can now do it, too!!) 

As partner in Beak Chic, I am excited to be able to offer designs to you that I wanted to wear myself!  So, having thankfully found myself with some free time on my hands this past summer and plenty of puns in my head, the two initial designs were born.  I reached out to KU and asked them if they would be interested in printing and selling the designs, but they said it was not their business to do that.  They were happy, though,  to help me find a licensed printer to enable me get them done.

With the help of my sister, Lisa Bredemeier (KU Alum), and my brother-in-law, Paul Bredemeier, we have made Beak Chic a reality!  They are fully engaged in wearing, selling and promoting Beak Chic LLC, as well as housing the home of Beak Chic in Kansas.

Where will this lead??  Who knows?!  I have more t-shirt ideas and new designs coming, and plenty of bad puns just waiting to get out. 

Still, I want to hear from you!  What colors would you like to see?  Options in the designs?  Once we can get a large inventory on hand, it will be easier to keep more available in more options.  Another great thing about the designs is that you don't have to be a Jayhawk to enjoy them!
